Angiosarcoma is one of the most difficult cancers to treat, and usually does not respond well to traditional treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation.

Angiosarcoma can affect anyone at any age.

Angiosarcoma usually appears in the head, neck or chest areas.

Angiosarcoma can also be caused by radiation treatments, foreign bodies (shrapnel, metal, plastics), or environmental conditions.

Angiosarcoma can also be caused by lymphedema, a condition where lymph fluid accumulates in tissues and causes them to swell.

Angiosarcoma often appears in breast tissue after radiation treatment.

Vinyl Chloride is most dangerous when it is inhaled, but it can also be absorbed through the skin or swallowed through the mouth.
