Angiosarcoma Diagnosis
FREE Case Review
Diagnosing angiosarcoma is extremely difficult for a variety of reasons. The first reason is that there are few symptoms that directly indicate the presence of tumor. Second, unless the patient has a history of exposure to radiation, vinyl chloride, or similar carcinogenic substances, doctors have no cause to look for angiosarcoma. Third, and most importantly, angiosarcoma can take decades to develop and can affect a number of systems and organs within the body. Once symptoms develop to the point to allow diagnosis, conventional treatments are usually ineffective because it is so far advanced.
